With over two decades in marketing, my journey began in the music industry, where I honed skills in promoting artists and their brands. This experience revealed a universal truth: effective marketing transcends industries. Recognizing this, I expanded my focus to consult with both artists and brands, emphasizing the nuances between branding and marketing. This passion led to the creation of my consulting firm, dedicated to empowering clients with strategic insights.
In 2020, driven by a commitment to social justice, I founded Equality Should Be Normal Inc. (ESBN). Our mission is to eradicate racism while advocating for violence prevention, education reform, mentorship, and enriching the Black community. A cornerstone of our efforts is the Barbara Murphy Community Resource Center in Washington Park, where we distribute meals, groceries, and essential goods to those in need.
Through ESBN, I gained firsthand experience in nonprofit operations and the challenges organizations face. This insight propelled me to consult with other nonprofits, guiding them to maximize their potential and impact. Today, I blend my expertise in marketing and nonprofit management to help organizations grow, thrive, and make a lasting difference in their communities.
